2nd Annual Write A Holiday Short Story Contest!

Dear authors and readers!
December is here and that means that it's time to bring some holiday spirits to Me and Reading!
I am inviting you to participate in the

2nd annual Write A Holiday Short Story Contest

I am opening my blog up for Holiday Short Stories! You write it and I blog it! I will add information about you, your published work to the short story! The challenge is open until 31st of December inclusive!

Last year there were 5 stories published in Me and Reading and it was a lot of fun for me, authors and also readers. You don't have to be a published author to participate.

Rules for participants:
1. The length is up to you, but it HAS to be SHORT and it has to be a HOLIDAY STORY.
2. It has to have a clear start and ending.
3. It can be related to your published work, but it MUST NOT be an excerpt. Excerpts are not allowed!
4. You must send your author bio, picture and information about your published/to be published work, so I can add it to the post.
5. Email the story and other information to me
6. Latest date for sending me you Holiday Short Story is 30th of December.
7. I will post your story 1 day after I have received it by email if you send me all the necessary information asked above.

For authors:

There will be 2 winners:

Winner of Readers' Choice
The story which gets biggest number of views and comments will be announced Readers' Choice. This winner will receive amazon GC of 20$.

Me and Reading's Choice
Me and my co-blogger Liis will pick our favorite story or stories in case we can't agree.
This winner will receive amazon GC of 20$.

Both winners will get a spot on Me and Reading's sidebar where they can advertise their book during the whole 2013.

For readers:

We will randomly choose 1 comment amongst all the comments posted under the published stories and this winner will receive amazon GC of 20$.

Winners will be announced in January 2013.

I encourage you to participate the fun!

If you have any questions, use the comments or write me an email
