Happy Release Day, Cursed! Cursed by Jennifer L. Armentrout - Giveaway!

Happy release day, Cursed!

Spencer Hill Press is celebrating the release of Cursed with a Release Day Blitz and so am I. Today is the release date of Cursed by Jennifer L. Armentrout.

I got my copy of Cursed when visiting BEA2012. I went to Spencer Hill Press' author signings and met Jennifer while she was signing Cursed ARC.

With Jennifer L. Armentrout at Spencer Hill Press booth, BEA2012

When I was waiting for my turn to get Cursed signed, then I was looking at people and wondering, why do they all hold the book upside down. Until it was my turn to get my copy of Cursed signed and I realized, that the cover is just so wicked and cool!

Anyway, Cursed it out today! I have read it already and so has my co-blogger Liis, so I am planning to post a double review of Cursed later this week! To rush ahead I can tell you, that Cursed is awesome! Jennifer's writing rocks! Congratulation for both to Spencer Hill Press and to Jennifer! Happy release day!

Summary:

Dying sucks--and high school senior Ember McWilliams knows firsthand. After a fatal car accident, her gifted little sister brought her back. Now anything Ember touches dies. And that, well, really blows.

Ember operates on a no-touch policy with all living things--including boys. When Hayden Cromwell shows up, quoting Oscar Wilde and claiming her curse is a gift, she thinks he’s a crazed cutie. But when he tells her he can help control it, she’s more than interested. There’s just one catch: Ember has to trust Hayden's adopted father, a man she's sure has sinister reasons for collecting children whose abilities even weird her out. However, she’s willing to do anything to hold her sister's hand again. And hell, she'd also like to be able to kiss Hayden. Who wouldn't? But when Ember learns the accident that turned her into a freak may not've been an accident at all, she’s not sure who to trust. Someone wanted her dead, and the closer she gets to the truth, the closer she is to losing not only her heart, but her life. For real this time.

USA TODAY Bestselling Author Jennifer L. Armentrout lives in West Virginia. All the rumors you've heard about her state aren’t true. Well, mostly. She shares her home with her husband, his K-9 partner named Diesel, and her hyper Jack Russell Loki. Her dreams of becoming an author started in algebra class, where she spent her time writing short stories...therefore explaining her dismal grades in math. 1. Hehehee, I think there are many who thought that about the cover. I did enjoy a lot being at BEA and meeting the authors a lot. But the best part of it is still reading the books. I am not sure if I make sense, but I am so happy that authors are sharing their talent with readers!
I think Jennifer is very talented author and she also seemed like a very kind person, too!

  4. I can't wait to read Cursed!!! I am a huge fan of J.L. Armentrout's books, and what is great is that after Cursed there will be Deity and then Opal and then Elixir (well I forgot the order of the releases but what matters here is that we will almost have a book a month!!!). Besides, I don't know how she does it, but the covers of her books are always so gorgeous!!!
    Thanks for the giveaway!
