Behind the Screen (20)

Happy Thursday!

It has been a month ago since I wrote my last Behind the Screen post. So much has happened during June, so I have so much to tell you!

Attention to Winners of Spring Cleaning Giveaway!!!

Let's start out with something which makes me feel terribly bad. Spring Cleaning giveaway ended already at the end of March and I have still not managed to send the books to all the winners. I apologize for that. I know that you are all waiting for your books and I guarantee to you, that you will get them!

I am aware that there are no excuses, but I would like you to know what the reason behind it is. It might sound silly to you, but anyway. Giveaway ended at the end of March and I had surgery in April after which I did not get out of the house for the whole April. When I was back on my feet and started working again, there were changes made in my local post office - they are cutting the costs which mean that they changed the opening hours in the post office to ridiculous times and I never managed to get there either. In June I was 2 weeks away at the BEA2012 in New York and now it's already the end of the June. Embarrassing!

My message to the winners is, that you will get your books; I am sending them latest 14th of July, which gives me 2 weeks of time to find time to visit the post office.
Once again, I apologize for the 5 winners!

As for all the other giveaways which I had in June, I will send them out to you this or next week. Luckily I can go that from behind my screen. :)

I wanted to let you know, that from the end of May I am working as a freelancer for Novel Publicity as a marketing assistant where I am mostly dealing with social media for Novel Publicity's authors. This job is something which I do after my daily work whenever I can and it's a lot of fun! It does not and will not influence my blogging, I will keep these two things separately. You can find my introduction under Marketing here:

I am little behind with my recap posts from BEA. The posts which I still need to finalize are the interviews which I made during BEA. There are in total 7 interviews which I need to format and post, there are 3 posts regarding the experiences during the BEA days and I want to post the list of the book which I received during BEA and last, but not least, what I learned from the experience. My aim is to have all these posts up during next week.

As I have mentioned earlier, I haven't been accepting any review copies since May and haven't been taking any extra obligations for blog tours for the summer period. I am very happy about that decision, but BEA2012 changed that. I have 97 new paper-books, which I needed to place to my bookshelves!!! That was the challenge of the last week and I have to admit, that it took time. Boy, did I enjoy that!!!

Reading and reviewing:

I have read 10 books during the last 7 days!!! I think I can post the reviews during this and next week, because I have not many other things planned for the blog. I am like "Speedy-Gonzalez" with reading at the moment. It is heavily influenced by the BEA2012 and most of the books I have read during the last week are from my new books from BEA2012.

Facts and numbers:

The most popular post this week has been Midsummer's Eve giveaway with 301 page views, the second popular post this week is surprisingly Paris - the city for undercover agents with 81 views. The reason I am surprised is, that the undercover agent contest ended long time ago.  The third popular post is Jinnie Wishmaker blog tour post with 78 page views. On the fourth place you will find another surprise - Happy 4th of July post from 2011 with 58 page hits.

GFC followers is at the moment 2531 and it has increased with +190 since May, Linky links follower number is 440 with +27followers from May, Networked Blogs has 246 followers with increase of +22, Twitter has 2541 followers and has increased during the month with +421! Me and Reading FB page has 2262 likes and this number has increased +454 this month. I will add the increased numbers again next week.

The biggest number of visitors this week are from US - 979 hits, the second place goes to UK with 137 hits and third place to Russia with 127 hits and the fourth to Brazil with 88 hits.

Last week there were visitors from 47 countries.

Page views all time history shows 133.075 which means that there is daily average of last week of 418 visits per day.

That's all for today!
Happy reading!
