I have a dream...

Today it's going to be about me (and my blog).

I have always liked the idea, that when writing posts for the blog you never blend in your private life, at least not in details. Since reading, writing, blogging are taking a lot of my free time and I have enjoyed it tremendously, then it is time to change that principle a little. Don't worry, this is a book blog and it will stay that way, so I am not going to share details of my life here, but...

I have a dream.
I need to say that out loud.
And writing has always helped me to clear out my thoughts.
I am little scared to say it out loud, because it might change my life :)

OK, here we go. Dream big!!!

I have a dream to make living out of my knowledge about literature, books, reading, writing, blogging about books and authors and I want to do it by working from home!

See, now it's said. That's the vision. Nothing too complicated. I want to go freelance again :)

The next step would be to make a detailed action plan for my dream. I will be working on that plan during the coming months. First I will make a rough draft with actions, deadlines etc, then I will have a nice vacation in Egypt in September and by the of September, I will be able to share with you, what I have done so far.

Besides that, I know, that many of you, who are reading this, have either done it already, still try doing it, are thinking of doing it. Share your experiences with me!

It doesn't matter if you are a writer who left the corporate carrier to start writing, if you are a blogger who did it already - it doesn't matter! I would love to hear your comments about that. How did you do it? How did you get started? What were the challenges?

I have a principle that there are no obstacles, there are only challenges and I do love good and interesting challenges!

  1. This is the type of dream I had for ages, Inga! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you :) Good luck! I'll be following your progress to see how it's done.

  2. Hi!

Thanks for coming by and leaving a comment. I would love to hear more about your experiences.
Hmmm, now I am curious. When you say that you have had this dream for ages, then what happened?
I am actually thinking of making "I have a dream" into series of posts. Only time will show if I will succeed with it, or not, but the least I can do, is share what happens.

    Thanks again for your comment!

  3. It's a long story :) But circumstances aligned in such ways that the possibility to try and go for it only just arose. I only started my blog in may, so we'll see. Thanks for following, Inga!
