Participating in Armchair BEA 2011

Happy Monday everybody!
In case you are frequent reader of my blog, then you know, that I cannot participate in Book Expo America. You can find my post about it here:

Me in Egypt, March 2011

Luckily I found a page Armchair BEA Central, who is organizing a big BEA event where you can participate without going on site to BEA 2011.

This is my introduction post for Armchair BEA!

General info about me:
Twitter: @IngaSilberg

140 characters or less about me:
Avid reader, reading from very young age, blogging from March 2011, traveller.

If I could put one book in the hands of everyone I come in contact with, what would it be and why?
There are so many good books to choose between, but I would pick Twilight by Stephenie Meyer and there is a very specific reason to that. Twilight brought me to TwiMOMs and they introduced me to Goodreads.com and my fellow TwiMOMs encouraged me to start blogging about books. It has given me incredible international network of wonderful people and I'm eternally grateful for that!

What book are you looking forward to reading the most in 2011?

I'm sitting and looking at this question and I really do not know what to answer. Since I'm an eclectic reader, the list would be too long.

Do you host any special events or memes on your blog that you would like to share with us (outside of Armchair BEA)? Please explain.
Mondays - Monday Looks Forward - that gives a rough overview of what to expect in my blog during the coming week.
Tuesdays - Teaser Tuesday - that gives a quote of the book I'm recently reading
Wednesdays - Wednesday Wonderings - that is a new feature, where I have guest blog post. The first of the series is coming this Wednesday.
Fridays - Follow Friday - bloghopping time!!! I'm participating in to bloghops each Friday.
Sundays - In My Mailbox - that gives and overview of what books I've received for reviewing, what I've bought and what I've won during the week.

Besides that I'm participating in different giveaway hops, posting interviews of fellow bloggers, interviews with authors and last, but not least I post reviews of the books, I'm reading.

If you could have lunch with any author, living or not, who would it be and where/what would you eat?

Generally, if I'd had a chance to lunch with any authors, I'd love that! I'm so grateful, that there are so many good authors around the world. But if I could pick one living author, it would be Charlaine Harris and I would love to have this lunch anywhere! Place would not matter to me!
If I could be an author who has already passed away, it would be Russian author Bulgakov.

How do I participate in Armchair BEA!
I will have a special BEA giveaway, which will be posted later today. You don't want to miss that!
There will also be blog posts related to Armchair BEA:
Wednesday - Introducing fellow book blogger.
Thursday - Nuturing Relationships.
Friday - Blogging about Blogging
That's it for the moment. Enjoy my blog and Armchair BEA 2011!

  11. Hi Heidi!
It's not every week, I'm doing so much with my blog. This week is little more than exceptional to me.
Well, I don't have much time to be honest - daily work first, then kid in the evening. Blog comes partially from my bedtime. I love working with my blog.
    Thanks for coming by!
